How To Draw Lines With Angles Using AutoCAD 2017?

There are situation where we want to draw lines at certain angles.  In this exercise I will show you how to draw lines at 45 and -45 degrees.  You can use these easy steps in drawing lines at any angles needed.

Create Straight Line Segments

With LINE, you can create a series of continuous line segments.  Each segment is a line object that can  be edited separately.

Start the LINE command by typing Line in the line command (or simply L) and hit ENTER since it is the first option that appears.

Type 10,10 and hit ENTER.

10,10 is the first point needed.  Type 5.0<45 and hit ENTER.

Move the cursor horizontally until you see the Green Dotted Line, Type 6.0 and Hit ENTER.

Type 5.0<-45 and hit ENTER.

Type c and hit ENTER ,or click Close in the command line to draw the last line.
